Isn't it About Time? We all lie to ourselves a little bit. Some of the lies are harmless, like deceiving ourselves into thinking that our jeans probably just shrunk a size in the dryer as we dig into a second serving of ice cream. Other lies can sideline us and our dreams for years. The biggest one we tell ourselves is, "I'll have time for that later." With all the things we could be doing with our time, we often use it to complain about it. “I don’t have the time,” “Someday I’ll have time for that,” or “There’s plenty of time later, but I'm too busy for that now.” We waste a lot of it, pilfering it away as if it’s a bunch of singles burning a hole in our pocket. We should be making the best use of our time by being realistic about it, spending it wisely on habits that are income producing, and savoring it. Don’t lie to yourself about time.
