Meet Rob & Paula Bickelman
Residing in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Rob and Paula Bickelman started their real estate journey after receiving a mailer for a real estate investing seminar. They attended and received a lot of information, which motivated them to form Find Solutions Properties, LLC and begin fixing and flipping homes.
The Bickelmans received an e-mail from Lee Arnold to attend a Nationwide Funding Tour, where they were captivated by Lee Arnold's faith-based approach to business. The Bickelmans have long held pride in their community and their faith. Paula was involved in her church but did not feel she was making enough of a difference. They were also inspired by Lee Arnold's dedication to improving communities and sharing bold faith. After attending The Nationwide Funding
Tour, they invested in Lee Arnold's Private Money Broker Certification, Lien Abatement Certification, and the Master Lien Abatement simultaneously.
The Bicklemans attended Lien Abatement Certification, and then Master Lien Abatement training – all the while applying elements of Lee Arnold's training to increase the size of their fix-and-flip projects. During the Master class, one of the exercises was to locate local municipality leaders regarding nuisance properties. The Bickelmans contacted local government agencies of Pottstown and were made aware of such properties. With a love for their local community history, they contacted the Pottstown Historical Society to gather information on historic homes that date back to the colonial era.
Action and Results:
From the completion of Master Lien Abatement training to present, Rob and Paula have restored 10 homes – nine of which are historical restorations with some modern amenities. Currently, they have two homes listed for sale, a third set to close, a fourth undergoing construction, a fifth set to start rehab, and just got two additional properties under contract. Out of those seven properties – six of them are historical restorations.
Since completing Master Lien Abatement training the Bickelmans have profited $240,000 in less than one year – noting that their real estate investing education has been paid for several times over. Two of the historical restorations that the Bickelmans completed were featured in local flyer advertisements – inviting the community to two open houses. Over 300 people attended the open houses – including the journalist and Pulitzer Prize winning author, Thomas Hylton, who writes for a local newspaper. Hylton wrote and produced an article highlighting local citizens for enlightened leadership. Rob and Paula Bickelman were featured three times in this article with the highlights commending their hard work and perseverance with not only restoring history but bettering the community through their investments.
