Mistakes to Avoid

not_paying_attention_while_texting_800_clr_9996Thinking this is an easy, get rich quick strategy is a big mistake. Nothing that I’m talking about is easy or a get rich quick scheme. It is a lot of work, it is a lot of time, it is a lot of phone calls, it is a lot of marketing, it is a lot of mail, it is a lot of offers, and it is a lot of rejection. It’s a lot of work, but I’m here to tell you, if you will stay the course, if you’ll just follow the Lee Arnold System, you’re going to be okay because it’s a proven system.

Many people have come before you and just implemented everything we’ve told them to do and they have been wildly successful. There’s no reason why you can’t have the same success that they have had. You just need to follow the system! But, from the standpoint of managing your expectations—it’s going to be a ton of work. So be ready.

Another mistake to avoid is jumping in with just a little bit of research. Ninety percent of your time will be spent researching, viewing, negotiating, and then doing more research on the property before you ever acquire a piece of real estate. Understand that from the me you say go and you start implementing your direct mail pieces, engaging your real estate agents to and properties, wiring offers on deals, communicating with buyers and sellers, and building your pipeline to wholesale, fix and flip, or hold and rent real estate, you could go, at a minimum, four months before you see dollar one.

It’s important that you understand this because I don’t want you to think that from the word go you’re two weeks away from your first paycheck. I’ve seen it happen. It is possible. I’ve done it and I’ve seen other people do it, but it’s not the norm. Manage your expecta ons and know you’re probably headed for at least four months of full me, hard, dedicated work before you start actually seeing those labors begin to pay dividends. I will tell you this, if you will stay the course, they will pay dividends and they will pay dividends handsomely.
